UutriPrivacy Notice
This notice explains how Uutri Ltd uses the details you give us when you join the Uutri waiting list at uutri.com. We keep it short and plain because honesty and fairness are what Uutri stands for.
Who we are
Uutri Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16359032. Registered office: 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF. Uutri Ltd is the controller of your personal data. Contact us about your data at noel.anderson@uutri.com.
What we collect
- Your first and last name and email address.
- If you choose to give it: your mobile number.
- Your country, and how you would use Uutri.
- When you signed up, the version of this notice you agreed to, and the link you came from if it carried a tag (for example, a LinkedIn post).
- If you joined through a friend's personal invite link, which member invited you. Each member gets their own invite link, and we count how many friends joined through it.
- A scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address, used only to stop automated sign-ups. We do not store the address itself.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your details only to invite you to Uutri when it opens, to tell you about the launch, and to understand which countries and ways of using Uutri to open to first. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see below).
Telling a friend
After you join, you can share your invite link by WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn or any app on your phone. You send it yourself: Uutri never sees, uploads or stores your contacts, and we never message your friends.
Who can see it
Only Uutri Ltd. Your details are stored on our website hosting with Hostinger, which acts only on our instructions. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Until Uutri opens and we have sent you your invitation. If you have not joined Uutri within 12 months after that, we delete your waiting-list details. We delete them sooner if you ask us to.
Cookies
The uutri.com home page does not use cookies or tracking.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them and take you off the list. Email noel.anderson@uutri.com from the address you signed up with and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have used your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Age
Uutri is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the version above. If a change affects how we use details you have already given us, we will tell you before it applies.
